They can be picked by any empire that is neither a Gestalt Consciousness or Corporate empire, and are heavily influenced by the empire ethics and authority type. True Pacifist can only be achieved after seeing a neutral ending, but without having ever completed Genocide (note that this neutral ending can form a part of your pacifist playthrough, but you'll have to at least witness it before backtracking).Īs such, I would strongly advise doing True Pacifist before genocide (with neutral at any other time) - especially considering how you'll get a much greater emotional impact out of the genocide route if you've already achieved True Pacifist.Standard civics represent the principles that guide day-to-day life within an empire. So im wondering, if you play neutral and then genocide, you dont have to do neutral again to play pacifist? if thats true, then its better to first play genocide and then pacifist. that means you have to play neutral again if you want to play genocide.
